Happy New Year to everyone, I wish everyone a much better year than the last.

I’m hoping for some help with an issue I’m having with my 1990 Evinrude 9.9, 2 stroke outboard. I currently have a light chocolate colored discharge coming out of my water discharge ports. The cream colored discharge has water, and oil mixture in it and I can smell the gas in it also. Hopefully the photos can help identify my issue. This gas, water and oil mixture continues to ooze out even when the motor is turned off.
Thank you

Fairly normal for a 2 stroke.-----Were you running on a hose ? ---bucket ?-----Checked the thermostat ?-----Any water in the gear oil ?-----Pressure test the gearcase to check for leaks.

It was running in a tank and there is no water in the gear case, the oil looks real good. I’m in the process of changing out the gear oil and the impeller. I’ve never had a 2 stroke oozing that much if any out of the discharge port like this. I just thought it was excessive. What’s in the photos is towards the end of the leaking. I wiped up quite a bit prior to the photo, not to mention the amount in the tank water. I just bought this motor recently and I’m wondering if the seller put way too much oil mixture in the fuel, I’m going to dump the fuel and put in the non-ethanol with the 50:1 mixture. 👍🏼
