1990 evinrude vro fuel pump

Hi All, I have a 1990 Evinrude model E150STLES. I need to replace the vro fuel pump, Could someone tell me which vro to purchase. I did the research and it seems that model 5007423 is the one I should purchase. But my brother says it model 5007420 because it is 4 wire. I did look at the vro on my boat and I saw 4 wires coming out of the vro.
Which is right and what is the difference, they both look almost identical.

5007423 is a 4 wire pump and is the one listed for a 1990 150.

Either pump will work, just find the cheapest one possible online....
5007420 is just the 4 wire pump nothing else
5007423 is the 4 wire pump along with extra stuff to convert your three wire engine harness to a 4 wire system.

the extra 4th wire is a purple wire that is hooked up to the distribution block's purple wire, which is a 12V ACC that is on only when the key is ON.

both kits provide a new pulse limiter.

PM if you want to know the cheapest place I found a new one.
