1990 Force 90 w/ water leaking out of lower carb

I have a '90 Force 90 HP that runs great through the whole throttle range, but after running the motor for a while (30+ min) I notice water coming from the lower carb when the motor is tilted up for trailering. I have not yet tried to reproduce this with the muffs and garden hose, I don't think my neighbors would be patient enough for the test! Any ideas?

are you sure thats not fuel? taste it and them tell me what it tastes like.

No, it is not fuel. I do get a few drips of fuel too, but that is to be expected I am told. The water is along the quantity of 8-12 oz. However, after this weekend's boating adventures, I noticed the water is coming from somewhere lower in the motor, not the carb. More to follow next weekend...
