Probably most restoration experts and boat mechanics will probably tell you it's a waste of money.

You cannot retrofit the old hood you want on it or put on the hood of a 60 degree OMC V4 looper engine.

You might be able to do some decal work with a paint job, but that's it.

The hoods are engineered in their shape/position to the motor installed to allow the needed clearance, air flow, and keep outside water from pouring in the lower cowling/intake.

Either put a classic motor on it and deal with the headaches that follow or throw on that 1990 v4 with needed maintenance, then go boating.
