1990 Johnson - 90hp?

I?m looking at a bout with a 1990 Johnson 90HP outboard. Anyone have an opinion on this engine? (Pros, Cons, things to look for etc) This will be my first boat purchase and want to make sure I?m not purchasing a known lemon.

In general, the 90's are bulletproof-BUT. Do your due dligence. Check all the parameters.

Look at the top of the page in the "Top Secret" area. Yes, you can go there. The title is a joke.

I thought you said I had to have special permission to see the top secret files and know the secret hand shake....and now you just let anyone view these priceless bits of information...does that mean I am not special anymore???

Every iboats member is "special".

I can't believe how people shy away from those areast. Maybe a re-think on the title(s).

If it is VISIBLE/Clickable=AVAILABLE. And, NO it doesn't blow up your computer. You won't find a safer site than iboats. That goes for purchases too.

best place for props, plugs and impellers I have found. I never even seen any spam on here..it is a great site...still miss the "my replies" feature.
