I recently had the tilt/trim motor replaced on my ProV 150. I brought the boat home and parked it in the garage. I connected muffs and a water supply to the lower unit at the water inlet. I started the motor and ran it about 10 minutes or so. Water flowed through the system without an issue. That was about a month ago. I haven't started the motor since that time. Tonight, I wanted to run the motor since it has set idle for about 30 days. The muffs were still connected to the motor. So, I turned on the water supply and started the motor. It started right up. Within 15 seconds or so, I noticed no water was coming from the motor outlet. I checked for any blockages, and could find any. I'm at a loss.... Can a water pump go bad sitting the garage? That being said, I don't know if it was replaced by the previous owner. I haven't replaced it, and I've owned the boat around 2 years. I read in some documentation that it's recommended that the impeller be replaced every two or three seasons. Is there any other way to test to make sure the pump needs replacing? Ideas? Thanks!

run a piece of heavy mono or weed wacker line up the tell tail to see if there is something plugging it.
I believe that is what you mean by no water flow coming out of it. You can also use compressed air to blow it out with if you have it handy. Both can be done while running with the water on
