I've bought a 1990 seanymph ss195 outboard, it has 1 battery, a mess under the dash, 2 start switches, one on the dash,
one on the shift controller, if that's what it's called, 2 live wells that fill from a pump mounted to a thru hull connection at the
transom. nav lights, and a am/fm radio with no face on it.
there is an opening right in front of the motor that has room for a battery, bilge pump, and pump for the livewells, also
has hydraulic pump for motor mounted there that's the only space at the transom where anything can be installed,
behind the 2 mounted seats there's no access.
I want to install another battery, but the way things are under the splash pan, there's no room. there is a plate to put one
battery, there is a hose for a bilge pump, but no pump on it. hoses coming from the livewells run under the floor and
one hooks to a pump, and the drain goes through a fitting in the transom.
I would like to put some kind of access holes in the splash pan to get at the pumps and battery and don't have to lay on
my belly to get to the stuff that's under there. Also when I rewire I want to mount positive and negative buss bars near the
battery, and under the dash, and mount the battery swith near the batteries. Any help with finding room at the transome
for what I want to do is appreciated. thanks in advance................................Al
