Due to a motor fire, I need a replacement motor. I have access to a well maintained 1991 90 hp Force without power trim at a very good price. The original set up I have is a 2003 Bass Tracker PT 185 with a 50 hp Tracker/ Mercury 2 stroke motor. I have 2 questions:

1. I am looking at purchasing a CMC PT 130 unit to solve the power trim issue. I am not sure if the Force swivel will bolt directly to the standard BIA bolt pattern on the CMC unit? I have not been able to find any detailed specs that show me dimensions of the bolt pattern of the Force. Anyone know if it will bolt directly to the unit?

2. My next concern is steering and throttle/ shift cable connections. Will the existing cables work or will I have to find Force cables and connections?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure on the 1st one. But you will need Force/Chrysler controls. There are usually a bunch on ebay.

You will need to drill holes in the CMC unit to mount the engine. The mounting bolt pattern is not the standard pattern for OMC and Mercury. You will also need Force controls as in 1991 they had not yet switched to Mercury controls.

Thanks for the information. I was afraid I would have get Force controls. Even though I could get the Force motor for next to nothing from a coworker, the money I would have to spend on the CMC unit and cables, I might as well get a decent used Mercury.
