Wondering if anyone has a manual that tells what degrees to set WOT timing to. I cannot find it for the life of me and I believe my motor is missing the sticker it once had. Thanks

I believe it is 28 BTDC, 30 BTDC at wide open throttle.

That should be it, but don't have manuals with me today.

In my manual, it says 32 BTDC static corresponding to 30 BTDC dynamic. This is usually the case for Thunderbolt ignition systems which is quite the opposite for Prestolite where static is 2 degree less than the dynamic.

32 degrees at cranking speed (plugs out and shorted to ground) and 30 engine running under load in the water

Most don't set the timing at wot.
They use the static timing method.

The wot method needs the boat in the water running wide open and trying to
adjust the timing running 35-40mph can be tricky.
The other way is with a test wheel in a test tank.

Static timing way easier, way safer too.

Well with my sport jet I can tie the boat to the dock and check the timing, but perhaps for prop not as easy.
