1991 cowling gasket

I have a 1991 90hp force outboard and the lower cowling gasket is leaking and has to be replaced. Does anyone know how to replace the gasket without pulling entire motor out?

Are you refering to the exhaust snout? Black accordian looking thing?<br /><br />If so...just take the shroud off....and then you can access it. 7/16 bolts and some 3/8 bolts on the front.<br /><br />TMD

tmd no not the snout but the gasket around the leg.

To the best of my knowledge you will have to pull the block off as the grommet is smaller than the powerhead.<br /><br />TMD
