1991 evinrude carb.

How big of a hassle is it to take out and clean a 9.9 carb out of a 1991 motor. Also can someone help me diagnose. To me it sounds like a carb/fuel prob the guy can get it started and running but it won't stay running.

Doesn't sound like a carb problem to me. Sounds more like a fuel supply problem.

What happens if he pumps the primer bulb? Does it stay running?

the hassel is dealing with the rewind starter, carbs are easy.
