Hi, I just removed lower unit to replace impeller and a metal washer / retainer fell out of the mid section. I assume that the washer goes on the upper driveshaft below spline but I don't know which direction it goes. The washer is cupped like a bearing retainer. See pic. Also which direction does impeller spin If holding metal cup in hand looking at it? Thanks ahead for any help.
