Hello I have a 1991 Galaxy(out of business) Laser 235 slc. The dashboard is falling apart. the gauge panels are cracked as well but making those is simple. I need the dash assembly. The area where the stereo mounts is almost destroyed. Alot of the plastic behind the panel is broken.

Does anyone know where i can buy the dashboard? My guess is Galaxy did not make them but bought them from someone else that made dashes.

I'll try to get a picture of the dash panel if it will help identify it. Any links to dashboard companies would be helpfull. I dont need gauges or switches or the panels....just the dashboard.

thanks you

P

you are most likely going to have to find a used one or rebuild it.

Actually rebuilding is the part i'm tryin to avoid, but there may be no other way around it. Th underneath is marine grade ply with fiberglass reinforment on it that is then covered by the plastic dash frame which is covered with padded black vinyl. The wood is fine the plastic is broke. If I cant find anything i will probably have to make a plug and make a fiberglass/carbon fiber reinforced one and re-wrap with padded vinyl. The plastic gauge shrouds are cracking at the mount points...but they are easy to recreate. I think I might make them outa ply/luan and then vacuum bag carbon fiber cloth on them.

Thanks for the response..

Anyone else want to chime in? Doesn't anyone make dashboards
