Hello,
Newbie here. First post. I have a 1991 Johnson Fast Strike 150 hp 60 degree V6 Model # J150GLEIS.
I am in dire need of a timing encoder wheel for my motor. Part # 513031. I understand this part has been NLA for many years! I have been told I will need to swap crankshaft to 1992 version to fix this. My wheel is damaged beyond repair by overzealous newbie mechanic(not me lol) removing it. Do I have any other options here?
Thanking all of you in advance!

a decent machine shop should be able to retrofit the newer one. After all, its not under any torque....

Look up the marine salvage yards at the beginning of this forum.

Do you still need one of these encoders? I have managed to reverse engineer these things and make them out of billet aluminum. PM me if so.
