I am new to the forum and having some trouble with a boat i just bought. Its a 1992 volvo penta 230a motor and SP-a drive. There is a vibration when i throttle the boat up in the water. I took drive shaft bellows loose and found lots of rusty water inside. Took drive off boat and found out the seal and bearing on primary shaft are in pieces, took out first small snap ring on shaft and larger snap rings that hold seal and bearing. The outer race of bearing is all that is left. My question is will the shaft pull out the rear of the bellhousing tube or does it have to go out toward the motor?
