Was wondering if gravity will effect the starting of this engine. I have a sloped driveway and it slopes to the front to the boat away from the motor. Would this starve the gas supply?
I am having starting troubles and I am hoping this is it

UPDATE: I turned the boat around to have the slope level or somewhat backward and the motor fired up almost instantly.
Come on guys help me prove my theory...

It's Nothing to do with the Fuel Pump.........

It's whether the Tank pickup Tube is IN gas or Air......

Anything is possible, depending on your tank design and size, yes it's possible. How do you know that is 1/2 full. Again depending on tank design 1/2 means 1/2 the distance from the top to bottom, but many belly tanks are tapered in the bottom to fit the hull.

Either level the boat, or put some gas in it and find out for sure.
