Hello everyone.
Bought a 1992 Glastron I/O with a 4.3L Volvo Penta in the beginning of this season. Boat starts right up, runs smooth, idles good when warmed up, and never has really given me any issues.

Since day one the boat has made a ticking noise. The noise is apparent at all RPM ranges. As RPM's increase the ticking increases.

After the first run with the boat I wanted that taken care of immediatly. So I ran it down to the mechanic who has always done work on my boats. Told him about this issue and some other minor things that needed to be taken care of.
When I picked up the boat he said it runs great and everything looked good. He stated he did a tune up and the boat runs like a top. So I assumed that a tuneup fixed the issue.

I took the boat out about one month later (which was the earliest i could get out :( )and the ticking was still there.

I have looked on some posts on here and but havent been able to find anything that matches this description. I did see one post where a guy took a video of the boat running with a tick but it was a VERY loud tick. This isnt nearly as loud but its still there and annoys me more than anything. Any suggestions?

The boat is at a storage location so quick troubleshooting responses are diffuclt but im willing to try anything. If need be, the next time im at the boat ill take a video and post to this thread.

Also as a side note, I'm fairly new to boating. I'm good with Snowmobiles, dirtbikes, and wheelers but i'm cluless about boats.
Thanks in advance everyone!
