Model #507f91c, serial #03167u<br />My boat has been fixed with the same problem10 - 12-times. It has spark and runs fine. Then it doesn't. They replace the electronic ignition,ineach case. Runs for awhile then right back to having a mind of its own

Something isn't spec.Check the plugs first.L76V or QL76V only. Anything else, and you have located the culprit.<br /><br />Runi t at night with the cover off (in the driveway is best), and look for arcing around the plugs, plug wires, or CD pack. If you see any, there ya go...Certain death over a short time of operation.<br /><br />How is it stored? Does it get wet,hot or both?<br />These black covers cook electronic ignition systems. I have a problem with this where I live (Florida). A shade tree or cover could help a great deal.

12 footer<br />more to the story. by chance, a friend in a town by me, has the exact same problem. seems odd. He tells the exact same story. I have alot of lakes around me and no one wants to touch my problem.
