1992 70 hp evinrude no spark

i just purchased a 1992 70hp evinrude the seller stated it was a running motor when he put it away 3 months ago. compression was 110 for all 3 cylinders. i have no spark at all. what is the typical problem johnson experience ? should i attack the stator, power pack or rectifier first . any suggestion on what to begin with would be helpful<br />russ

I’d check the kill circuit first. I’ve had problems with the man-overboard safety switch. If that checks follow the troubleshooting procedure in the manual.
