I have a question about my linkage, can someone tell me how to adjust it to perform at its best? I am turning 5000 rpm's at wot ,I can do this with a boat load of people or by myself. It jumps on step with or without a load. I have a 16 ft starcraft aluminum boat running a 19 stainless pitch . Any help for it?
thanks in advance pappy3

it is a step by step process, outlined in the manual, too long for here.. i would say you either need to look at the height set up or prop setup. you should be turning 5500 wot. it just reaches 90hp at 5000.

OK can you tell me where should the anticavitation plate be? I have an 8" V in the rear of the boat, I am one hole up from the deepest setting!
thanks

The anti cav. plate should be about 1" up from the lowest poinnt of the hull. That's a good place to start. It should turn 5500+.

Don't mess with any linkage without a manual. The slightest misadjustment can grenade that engine in a heartbeat.
