1992 Alpha 1 Gen 2 trim limit switch wiring

Good day all, I bought a new transom assembly. The two black/male ends are identical with NO colors. Does it matter which one goes to the dual blue/white female connector or the single purple/white connector? Thanks in advance.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,.... Nope, I don't believe is matters, especially on the limit switch, as it just a make, or break switch,....

You were correct. There was no difference.
