Hi,

I have read mixed reviews about the Trophy series. Curious to hear what those who've owned them think? I'm looking at one that has a 175HP Mercury on it( not Force). I can live with it not having the nicest finishes, but more concerned with the quality of the hull. Obviously, any individual boat could vary, but I'm looking for a general overview. Thanks!

The Trophy brand was still part of Bayliner in '92, so the normal Bayliner caveats apply: light hull for its size, bargain basement fittings, check the wood for rot.

Have to disagree...have the exact same boat. Not sure what defines bargain basement fittings, but as far as mine goes, everything shows and functions well. Great boat for big water and it is user friendly. Overall, best bang for the buck on that type of boat. Would buy another without hesitation.
