Hi,
I have just had the power pack and timer base replaced on my engine (wouldn't start) and after a 3.7 hour stint on the lake I noticed some oily water coming out of the very small holes in the lower unit (after hauled out and to the house). More specifically, the hole in the front part and the one on the right side. The engine ran beautifully, but I don't ever remember anything other than water coming from those holes. Is there anything in particular I should be keeping an eye on or looking for? Oil consumption is normal (vro is functional). Thanks,
Winfield

What you are seeing is unburned oil and is perfectly normal with 2 cycle engines.
