1992 Johnson 88 Special compression worries

Compression check cold, I am getting 120 top and bottom on the right side, and 100 on top and bottom on the left side, any ideas?

Too much difference.-----Might as well pull that head and look for broken rings.----A very , very common failure !!

Do you think they could just be sticking, just got boat and dont think its been on water in quite some time, maybee a few years., just courios.

Some will argue and hesitate .-----Take the head off and inspect.

Did you do the right side first then the left?
Is your battery topped off and strong?
Did you rotate the engine the same amount of times on both sides?
Do you get where I’m going with this?
Top off your battery and test again left side first and see if you get the same results.
If you do then I agree its worth pulling the head and taking a look.
