1992 Mariner 25hp no spark

1992 Mariner 25 hp 2 stroke. I am new to this site and my motor just quit it seems to getting fuel fine and we tried to test the spark and we cannot see a spark with either spark plug holding them seperately to a ground or taking a wire and trying to ground them that way. I read to test the ohms from the positive and negative on the coils with all wires and coil wires off I got .5 on each one and they say to have between .2 to .4 to check the coil. Is this value close enough to the preferred value? Any other suggestions to check? Is there a fuse? Thanks in advance for any help

Disconnect the stop button and see if you have spark. Do the same with the kill switch (with safety lanyard). If spark comes back, you found the problem.

Disconnected the kill switch with no spark still. Tested the ohms in the starter switch and have resistance when open and nothing when closed.
