1992 Mariner Magnum 40--Does it have a Thermostat?

Replaced impeller on my Mariner 40, 4cyl. Old impeller looked pretty good as did the pump housing and wear plates. Does not seem to be any blockage in the tube.

It is taking a while for water to start coming out of the tell tale.

Does this motor have a thermostat? If so where is it located? I cannot find one anywhere and do not see any on the parts lists.

Hi,

It does not have one. It takes a 10-15 seconds for the block to fill up and build pressure to flow out the tell tale.
