1992 SeaRay ski locker

I have a 'new to me' 1992 Sea Ray bow rider 200. The previous owner did a terrible carpet job, but not too bad that I'm about to rip it out try again...yet! Does anyone out there know if ski lockers were standard on these boats? I believe the area is raised slightly where a locker should be. When I started cutting the carpet to check if it had been burried, the 'other half' freaked out and made me stop.

Any thoughts out there? I'd post pic's, but the heigth difference is so small that you have to feel it by hand.

Did you try looking for docs on the SeaRay website? They may have owners manuals or parts diagrams you can download that would show a ski locker.

Suprisingly, the boat came with ALL the origional paperwork and mantinence upkeep. It lists ski locker information, but doens't say if it was an option or standard. Same with a couple items that I know were optional. I'm kinda lost here...maybe I'll wait till 'she' leaves the house one evening and.........

Any evidence that the PO put a sheet of plywood over the whole deck and covered it up with the carpet. Is the carpet new?

Got a bilge pump? If yes, how do you get to it? That might give you the access to check under the deck and see a ski locker hatch.

My '88 SeaRay 19' Sorrento Bowrider had a ski locker between the consoles. It had a teak cover.

You should be able to find a picture of your boat and the original specs on the SeaRay web site.

Got It! Standard equip...guess I get to do some cutting. Hope the teak isn't in too bad of shape.
