i know it may not be much help but try looking for layout schematics. maybe try your local tracker dealer and ask for manuals. i should go try and find some for mine as well!!

I have a 1995 Tracker Pro Deep V-17,I am in the process starting tomorrow of replacing everything in the live well.areater, recycling valve.I have taken the wood off the top,it has a small piece in the rear, then the longer one for the livewell cover and a storage cover that is all one pice of plywood.it needed replaced anyway. Is your live well on the lt side in the rear.Looking towards the front of the boat?I have looked at everything so that I could get the correct parts.Let me know if your is the same as mine.I can answer your questions if it is.

Hooksi69,
I just joined and saw your post. I just purchased a 92 TX-17 off of a friend the other day. My initial thought...you know how you roll up a poster and insert it into the mailing tube, and the poster unrolls to fit the inside diameter of the tube? What about a thin plastic membrane rolled up and inserted in the live well drain that has had an adhesive applied? Once the membrane unrolled, you could press it into the adhesive with a balloon (that the clowns use to make the animals for the kids) tie the balloon off and let the adhesive dry.

I know it sounds far fetched, but you would be essentially sealing the cracked drain tube from top to bottom.

Just a thought.

Re: 1992 tracker 17..livewell exit pipe

I have a bass tracker tournament v17 and this spring I put it into the boat slip and cross tied it. When I went back down a couple days later the only reason it wasn't on the bottom of the lake is because I cross tied it. I hit the bilge and it drained. I pulled the boat back out and took it home. I filled it with water and guess where it came out. Yep, the live well outlet. I got the water out of the oil tank and put a plug in the outside of the live well exit in the stern and have been using it all summer. I did try to find a way to get to the live well without pulling the gas tank, but I couldn't find any access. It seems like bad engineering to have a livewell mid boat and no access to the drain and fill connections. I plan to try again this winter to figure out how to do it. I will let you know what I come up with. Net / net you are not alone with this problem.
