ive read many posts addressing this but im not sure if they covered exactly this.the first time out the oil alarm went off and after pulling the cover i realized the oil was low in reserve tank and had to manually fill it, and disconnnect alarm.i took it to my mecanic and they said they tested pumps and sensors.they couldnt figure it out and said it had to be the cpu, and it would cost over a thousand.the problem is im not sure they even know and am wondering if there could be an easy electric fix before i disconnect oil and premix.also what are the downfalls.

i forgot to mention after i disconnected alarm cable in very back i ran it ok for at least an hour , while i manually poured oil into small tank in engine.but after i let them check it out and check sensors and everything, i put a manual hand pump like for gas, and took off the small electric pump connected to the main oil tank on the boat so i could just manually pump the oil from the big tank to the small one without taking off the cover. i ran it out of the water to test it and after a second the alarm went off,but the reserve tank was full, and when i disconnected the alarm plug it wouldnt stop. i dont understand why the alrm is still going off even when i disconnect it.

do some forum searches
there is a lot I have posted on how to test the system and what typically goes wrong.
its a very simple system but your terminology isnt up to snuff.
the engine tank is NOT a reserve tank and the big tank is called a remote tank.
gotta run but I will try to follow this later.
