1993 25 hp johnson

I have a 1993 Johnson on a lowe 15' alum boat that I have fished it for years and never had any problems out off it but now that motor starts and runs fine its when you give it gas its like the motor is throttling up and down i have had the carb cleaned new plugs new gas tank and fuel line can someone please help figure out what is going on with this thing??

Pull one plug wire at a time and see if you have a cyl that is loosing spark when the prob occurs.

I have done this of course you can tell one cylinder is not running the but the problem is still there up and down violently at wot

By pulling one plug wire at a time you should be able to tell which cyl is causing the prob.

that's what I mean it does not matter which plug wire you pull it does on both cylinders its kinda like your turning on and off the ignition at wot

Might be your SLOW kicking in. Test by pulling the cable from temp switch to powerpack at the head. Just watch out that the engine is not running hot!!!!
