Hello all, I'm new at posting, please bear with until I find my way around. I sent this message yesterday but didn't give it a title. I'm sending same message hopefully with title. I have a 1993 50hp 2cylinder Johnson motor model JV50 TLETF. My problem is no spark to intermitten spark. I also have spark on one cylinder only at times. The motor runs great when I do have spark. I think I have eliminated the coil being the culpret by switching the coil wires coming from the power pack. If the wire harness, key switch, or kill switch were faulty I would have no spark at all, right? I've been fighting this problem for weeks now. I took the motor to a repair shop but it never acted up there. I hesitate to start buying new parts such as a power pack until I 'm certain what the problem is.
