1993 60 hp, middle cyl no spark

I have a 1993 evinrude 60 hp that is not getting spark on the middle cylinder. I have checked the coil by rotating in a spare and also moving the top coil to the middle just to double check. I am getting intermitent spark at times and no spark most of the time. I am thinking power pack, am i on the right track? I have read a few other posts and they seem to lead this way. Any thing else i should check?

make sure all connections are clean and corrosion free.

They all look good. I just double checked.

I did remove inspect and replace all connections. All were corrosion free and clean. I just had it running a few minutes ago, and I would get spark for 5-10 seconds and then lose spark completely. It seems like a part is heating up and then failing. From what I have read a dva is the only way to test electrical parts. Where is the best place to buy a dva.
