1993 650 Yamaha Waverunner III wont spark.

I was riding the ski and it turned off by itself from idle. I replaced the spark plug and the battery and that was not the problem. The engine trys to turn over but the spark plugs are not sparking. I checked the boots and the connectors to the plug and they are free from coorision or debris. I also opened the electric box and the fuse is not burned out, the connection to the fuse is good and there is no sign of any water getting into the electric box (the seal is good and everything is dry).... I dont know what to do next please help.

the usual culprit is the switch at the handle bars,, it gets water in it and grounds out the ignition.
