Hello all, I have been battling my 6hp evinrude for little while now my problem is I can not get my motor to idle down and stay running, also the motor is slow to react when I twist the grip from low rpm to high rpm. I have re-built the carb, installed new water impeller and a new fuel pump. I pulled my plugs and they had a lot of carbon deposits on them. This problem became a little more apparent after I ran out of gas, but before that my motor would idle pretty low for about a minute or two then die but now it will only idle low for about ten seconds.
Any suggestions on what my next step should be, would be great. Thanks a lot.
