When I run about 4mph in the no wake zones the motor runs good. Nice idle, no sputting, or knocking. However, when I increase the throttle to full the rpm's will only increase a liitle then they will die down and I'm going 4mph at full throttle. I have good compression, and good spark. I was told to put the throttle at full and if it doesn't pick up and remains going slow to push the key in for a second to see if the motor picks up. I tried that and the motor did increase in speed. That little test shows that the fuel pump is ok, correct? I also lifted the choke lever while I was in neutral and the motor revved to a very high rpm. It sounded good with the lever raised but when I increase the throttle to full I have no increase in power. The simple things like throttle cables were checked with no problems. The primer bulb on the fuel line was firm also. I'm thinking it's the carbs. Any thoughts??
