Hello all just wanted to post here and see if I’m on the right track. Engine has the original VRO pump which has been converted to premix. So my motor gets up on plane fine and runs like normal for about 3-5 minutes. After that there is an intermittent “cutting in and out” while underway. Not a bogging issue, it does it for a brief second then picks back up right where it left off. Dropping a few hundred rpm’s when it does it. Decided to pump the primer bulb while running and this almost eliminated the issue. While coming back to idle I notice a ticking coming from underneath the cowling. Again pumping the primer bulb makes this go away. Everything in me is saying my fuel pump is acting up or I have air entering the system somewhere. Am I on the right track here? I like to troubleshoot and not throw parts at it so any troubleshooting tips you have for a fuel pump I’m all ears.
