1993 four winns omc 5.0 throttle issues

Hi all. So I am new to this boat. The throttle doesn't accelerate at all until about 1/4 throttle. Is there an adjustment for just the throttle cable? I am a mechanic on diesel trucks so I have the ability just don't know where to start on a boat.thanks in advance

I don't know the Cobras enough to answer your question. I haven't gone far enough into my Mercruiser to know on the remote end, but on the throttle end it is adjustable. On my old OMC my remote end was not adjustable.
