Hi, I am obviously new to this forum and new to boating.
I have a friend at work selling a 1993 four winns 210 horizon with a 305 omc inboard outboard.
He is the second owner and says he has taken care of the boat and motor.
Had the gear house on the lower until replace in 2010.
always ran in fresh water.

Just looking on some opinions and suggestions.

I'm a little concerned with the omc both because they are out of business and also that it is an inboard outboard

Thanks,
Tom

I wouldn't be afraid of an I/O itself but I would not buy an OMC. They were a good drive but no longer in business. Go with Bondo's suggestion.

If and when you can find parts for the OMC, bend over... because your going to get screwed on the prices. Then you have to find a Mechanic that will even work on it. Stick with the Merc stuff. Parts and Mechanics are easy to find. Just steer clear of the stuff from the 60's and the 470 powerplants.
