I have recently acquired a 1993 Glastron with a 4.3L Volvo engine (model 432). I rebuilt the water pump and the starter but the fuel pump is not pumping. I replaced the fuel pump and the relays. I them noticed that there is a resistor in line from the alternator to the fuel pump relay. If I take that out and bypass it the fuel pump starts pumping. I measured the resistor and it is the correct value. Does anyone know the purpose of this resistor in line to the fuel pump relay???? Desperately need help.
