So I recently took the carbs off because it was running funny and cleaned them up. After I put them back on it was running great. After a while it started sputtering and died while in idle.

Did you open the carbs up and see if there is any trash in there, maybe you have some fuel lines flaking from the inside.

What happens if you constantly prime the fuel hose bulb? This forces extra fuel into the carbs. Will it run normally (including at WOT) when you constantly prime the hose bulb?

Removing carbs, clean/rebuild them and re-install using the old fuel hoses, might be a risky business. More than once, I've seen particles of the old hoses inside the carbs on the second round through!!

I got all of the trash out when I took them off. The hoses seemed fine I looked at them and there was no deterioration. I haven't tried the bulb. I will when I get home but could it be caused by the spark plugs or the spark plug wires?

At this point, it's hard to tell just what the problem is. You'll have to verify the spark on each plug. Keep in mind that weak ignition components tend to fail when the heat up to normal operating temps. The engine might run fine when it's cold..
