I have fropped my lower unit on of my 1993 Johnson 250 V8 and am having problems removing the impeller. I have replaced impellers before and there was nothing to it. Remove the housing cover slide the old impeller up the shaft and the new one down the shaft. I cannot budge the one that is on there. I have used penetrating oil, tapped it gently with a hammer, tried prying it up and it is not moving, any suggestions?
I also broke one of the bolts in the impeller housing cover of from crosion and only have about 1/4" of it sticking out of the bolt hole and so far cant get it free either, any tricks you know of?
