My paw-in-law has a 1993 mariner 135. He had a new tilt motor installed several weeks ago. The tilt has not held since. When you tilt it up it slowly goes back to the full down position. There has been ample time to bleed out the air in the system so now I think there is trash in the check valves. My question is where are these check valves and are they accessible so that I can clean the debris from them? All help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Try To Check The Presure Relief Valve Screw That You Would Use To Lower The Motor Manually On The Side Of The Motor Sometimes The Oil Rings Go Bad I Had The Same Problem And Turns Out That Was The Problem Make Sure You Replace It With The Mariner Oil Rings

First that system should have a guarantee take it back to the seller, the most common thing causing that problem is a ck valve on the port trim cyl rod
