1993 Seaswirl transom and floor replacement

I have a 1993 190SE Seaswirl with a OMC Cobra 5.0 inboard/sterndrive. I know I have to replace the transom, the motor mounts and at least the floor in the same area. I assume that I will have to wait until I get this area removed before I can assess the rest of the issues that may need repair. I have ordered a service manual, but is there anything special I should know before I start removing the sterndrive and motor? I am sure with this much to be done the strings will have to be replace too... right? Thanks for your help!

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,... Pull the drive 1st, then the motor, then the transom assembley...
Then go to Tearin'... You can Stop when you get to the end of the Rot...

You've got a ways to go,... reading here will give you 99% of the answers,...
