1994 120 Force (by Mercury) 2 cycle 50:1 mixture accuracy

What are symptoms of an incorrect 50:1 mixture? What would be the symptom of to much marine outboard oil in mixture? And what would be the symptom of not enough in mixture. It's a '94 Force (by Mercury) 120. Thanks.

It's not that particular, but more oil than 50:1 may make more smoke and less oil than 50:1 May make less lubrication and corrosion protection of crank bearing area while motor is stored....50:1 is just a convenient number that's easy to remember and use, but a bit more or less won't matter much...
