1994 2.2L Plymouth Sundance. I sold this car to my little brother years ago and now he is having a problem. It is a standard drive and when you are going down the highway around 60-65 the engine surges and acts like it is starved for fuel. When you go through the gears while driving around town it doesnt seem to have a problem. We put a new fuel filter in and also checked the fuel pump pressure and its fine. We also replaced the air cleaner which was filthy and it still acts up. We are unable to find any trouble codes in the computer. It is a trottle body injection fuel system. We also replaced the coil as well and still no fix. I was thinking perhaps the fuel injector might be going bad or perhaps the O2 sensor. The plugs, wires and distributor cap and rotor are fine. Any thoughts?
