If you buy the parts new, it'll cost you an arm and a leg. Your best bet is to find a parts motor. Flywheel + starter + starter bracket + solonoid + switch is the basics, but if you get a parts motor it will likely have the battery charger (under flywheel) too.
I recently found a parts motor for my 30hp for $100, somebody ran into a burm while towing, knocked the lower unit clean off. Lower unit and powerhead in great shape, swapped out all the necessary parts and now i push a little button instead of yankin on the pull cord.
Many years will likely fit, look at some parts diagrams and compare part numbers. The flywheel is the expensive part, $500 new...
