the marine repair shop has quoted me a price of $600.00 to repair. this is my son's boat who is a college student and fishes in murrells inlet, sc.<br />i am trying to keep him fishing which is a good habit for a young person. the repair includes a <br />water pump and the forward gears....parts are $400.00 and labor $200.00. my question is this a fair price....if so what else should be done while doing such a repair. also should i request a tune up and what does this usually costs. thanks in advance for any advice.<br />bob
