1994 DT150 stalls in gear....

After several weeks of tinkering, i got this engine, a 3 x mikuni carbed 1994 suzuki DT150 running at better then 90%. When i swapped for the boat, the suzuki was a beast to get started & every bit a challenge to keep running. After going thru the carbs, choke/valve system, fuel pumps, fuel filters, primer bulb & hoses, going to a portable fuel tank, changing t-stats, impeller, adding temp guages....i got this baby to purr. More or less. Still appears to have an idle issue-set to 750 +/- rpms, it varies on its own to over 1k, to

Low compression, vacuum leak in intake or gas recirculation/port covers, leaky reed valves, bad ignition timing.
