1994 Evinrude 150 Intruder

Motor starts fine in the mornings and runs strong, but in the afternoon it wants to fall on its face when accelerating. If I baby the throttle and get up on plane it will run fine. Seems to do this more when the weather is hot. Repair shop changed the power pack, but still the same issue. Any suggestions, having a hard time figuring this one out.

Do a cylinder drop test on it when it's acting up.

Did you get your old powerpack as a spare ?-----Perhaps look into the issue of carburetor bowl warping.---Perhaps adjust slow speed mixture if equipped with mixture screws.
