i am rebuilding the carbs and noticed there is a large open hole in the bottom of the silencer backing plate below carb #5. it is visible in bottom right corner of this photo.
my parts manual says there is a "grommet, hose" p/n 329518 that goes here (diagram is for 1994 "intake manifold suffix "k" models"). i can also see a a clamp retainer for the hose, but no hose and it doesn't tell me what hose or show me where the hose goes. is this hole maybe where the main fuel feed hose to the fuel manifold is supposed to come in?
